He listened to his parents.

But that wasn't enough.
Richard Facilier grew up in a happy home. They were poor, but they had what they needed to enjoy life to the fullest. They were inseparable.
That was...until everything fell apart. His father lost his job and his mother left. Little Richie could only sit back and watch as everything lay at his feet, shattered.
His father fell ill and Richie couldn't stay with him anymore. He was lost and couldn't do anything on his own.
This is the Shadowman's story.
