Yannik Inventi-Sumus was a simple man, he never needed much. Life consisted of a moderate-sized house in the countryside, a mystical forest reaching towards peaking mountains one way, and an old travellers path climbing over the hills to the other. That old road leads to the nearest civilization, as well as an ocean.
Yannik was someone who could never turn a weary traveller away. So somehow he ended up being a father and figure to a diverse group of children.
(Basically a little fantasy AU of my own personal found family, and i decided to share this chaotic little story with others!)

Never Too Late
Briggan wasn't somebody that wanted friends. He'd been alone for as long as he could remember, and he wouldn't mind it if he stayed that way for the rest of his days. Or, at least, he would've... had someone not began meddling in his life. Now, everything was upside down and he had no clue on how to handle it. How will he navigate his thoughts and feelings as he begins to notice that he isn't fighting it, but rather... leaning into the thick of it all? Legend of the Magibird
A fantasy short story I wrote for a university English course inspired and based on a Slavic folklore tale. This story follows two brothers who are looking for something but have lost their way. However, one of them discovers a mysterious magical bird, and they resolve to follow it. It will be a long and difficult journey, that will take all of their wits and will, and they will face tests and have to make hard choices. What will they discover? Will it be what they are looking for?Concluida

Weigh Out Way-In
There is an unexpected turn in the story that drastically changes the course of events and, in the long run, even the lives of those involved. Magpie, the first to be involved, suddenly finds himself in the world so unlike his own. Will he find his place there or will he be at least able to go back home? He seems to find his way back from this new world of giga-dimensions but something unwanted happens, and things go worse. The cultural differences, together with a challenging personality traits of another involved in the events, suck Magpie and his friends into a downward spiral. The story challenges you to see the world differently from the perspective you are perhaps too used to and narrowed by. Life can be an adventure if you don't narrow it with a bigotry that forces you to be rooted in your trenches and behind your dividing walls. This doesn't mean you have to accept others' views without standing your ground. However, to be able to share our lives in this one and only world we need to make compromises, on both sides. Are you the first brave one to set this positive trend in motion? So read on and let the foundation of the story be laid. From the end of episode 1 on, the story really picks up, finally reaching its climax at the end of episode 3 with quite a surprising finish. Your participation in solving this shared challenge of coexistence and cooperation is highly appreciated. Remember those who cooperate make more progress than those who don't! The ideal audience for my first book is actually between 12 and 16, but anybody older and interested in adventures, cultures and in getting more understanding into our multifaceted world is sure to enjoy the story. (The whole story has now been published, the only thing I'll still add is the final epilogue but the story is already available in its entirety.)Concluida
the dark light
My life was supposed to be normal. You're born, raised by good parents, go to school, make friends, graduate, get a job. You create fun memories, find the love of your life, get married, start a family, grow old, and eventually, you breathe your last. That's what life was supposed to be like for me. But instead, my life turned out to be the opposite of normal. And so it was for Chiara, Blake, Jake, Rowan, Nova, and Dijon. To tell our story, we need to go all the way back to the beginning. Before we were even born. It all started 30 years ago. April 5, 2003. a class got into an accident and when the survivors woke up, they realized something was wrong. they got powers , they got taken by scientist who started calling them the hollows. It took almost a month before they were rescued by Mr. Knight, they got taken to a secret place where they could live peacefully. that's a lie, one of the students wanted revenge and not stay hidden, so the group seperated. Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? And one more thing before I go-welcome to the world of Dark Light.
The Golden Dragon's Hoard
Astraeus, a baby dragon, escapes from his old coven and stumbles upon a little shop that he spends months stealing from and hiding in to survive. The witch and familiars who live there are... strange. They know he takes from them but don't put up different wards, don't do things that could hurt him. They know that he has a hide out in the aster tree, that he lives close-instead of getting rid of him and forcing him to move, they visit him. Talk to him, leave him things, they're kind. Different. Stranger than any other witch or familiar he's ever met. Stray is not used to things that don't hurt. The gentleness is terrifying. He'd rather stay away from them than learn why they don't have sharp tongues or bruised knuckles. However, on the night of a bad storm, he gets trapped inside of the shop, trapped with kind strangers. After getting caught, he discovers another dragon. He learns that life is not meant to be painful. He learns that he can be loved. He's allowed to want things with them. To eat, to not fear the cold, to live instead of survive. Everything changes and Stray is determined to make them his hoard, to make it complete.Concluida
