A rewrite of one of my other stories: Steve is kidnapped into the group 'The Defiance' which is a group of people with superpowers. He tries to get along without getting in trouble but that doesn't quite work out.

"Three weeks. That's how long I got to have drama-free. I'm not sure what is happening to me or to Oakwood. Nothing's the same since I rolled into town and it just keeps getting weirder. Suspicious agents in suits roam the streets without an explanation. They're staring straight at me. The new Chemistry teacher is NOT who he says he is. I'm doing things I never thought I could. Like, mutant-level things... Lauren, Luc's dead twin sister, hid something from everyone. Something important that may have lead to her demise and that could lead to ours. Hunters are in town. I never knew four words could contain so much dread and terror. I'd rather deal with the Wanderers. I'm on the brink of a breakdown. I need help..." BOOK #2 IN THE SERIES! Ignorance is not bliss... In the wake of ridding Oakwood of Wanderers, other dangers come creeping in and they're somehow linked to Luc's absent twin. The past returns to haunt the mutants in inconspicuous ways. Riley's life is yet again in jeopardy, but this time she's not alone. Luc and his family are all thrown into the teetering balance. More secrets are uncovered. A trap dawns on them all. Invisible threats start crawling from all directions. Who is the real enemy? TW : behaviours of depression and PTSD are displayed. I don't name them, but one of the character will be struggling a lot. It may not be suitable for everybody. Other adult matters are briefly included, but nothing explicit or intense. "Follow the story of a team, thrown together by fate, who must use their powers to stop the inevitable. The underground human organization "The Revengeance" wants revenge (obviously), and will do anything to protect earth, even if that means destroying every species in their way. The aliens are ready to destroy them all over again, if they find out the humans are no longer extinct. The fate of all sentient life hangs in the balance. Can they stop this slaughter? Or will they be killed themselves?" This is a story that I've been working on with my friend and we are both excited to finally publish, enjoy! Btw the name in the title will be who the chapter follows Also, this is the first draft, once it's finished we are probably going to go and edit some stuff or just rewrite and publish it as a whole other book
The Darkness in the Light
For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. Women and their daughters hide, protected in their homes, while men take their sons through the world, teaching them the responsibilities of having a family to feed and dangers to avoid. No one leaves the home unless it's essential, and most of the world prefers it that way. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness. Joined by his new partner, Jenna Jones, he pursues a secretive manhunt for the Soldiers Of The New World, an underground E.H. crime organization that has a hand in all that is illegal, and their mysterious leader: String, who, seemingly, has eyes and ears everywhere. The Seven Deadly Sins
Some undeterminable amount of time ago, there was a group of seven friends. But these friends were special. They each had special powers unique to them. One summer, they all meet up in the same hotel for vacation, only to be trapped and captured by evil versions of themselves, known as the 7 Deadly Sins. The friends use their powers- and their wits- to escape and stop the Sins, and their leader/the kids' old enemy, Thomas. Ok so I didn't write this. Some of my friends did and I asked to publish it. @SuperViperT302 was a main writer. I also didn't edit it. All I took out was personal info on them.
