Novah Grimm and Kai Smith have been on the same team since they could remember, neither having been able to get along. One was too bubbly, one was too cocky.
After a long series of events, the Spirit Master and Fire Master learn just how similar they are and the two begin to form quite the duo until the team goes their separate ways.

It's been months, almost a year since Harumi and Garmadon had been around to cause havoc, their fates undetermined. During their new adventures, Novah and Kai learn just how compatible Fire and Spirit could be, both with an undying fire in them and a bold fighting spirit.
