The rise of an Empire that has stretched its control over the entire world has changed society completely. The elected High Assembly serves as little more than a facade for the true rulers: a nameless group known only as the Lords. In this new society, everyone is a citizen of the Empire, and anyone who opposes is a treasonous Insurrectionist. Not all citizens are made equally, made evident by the constant struggles between the competing Serfs, Peasants, Vassals, and Lords.

Sometimes a change of names and a bit of creative liberty can change the perceived normality of the status quo. These stories follow the nameless cogs in the modern feudalistic machine that has been forming for the last millennium and will soon come to full fruition. They are snapshots of a world much, but not quite, like our own.
