Lily has been told what to do for the past couple of years. Literally. She wasn't the favourite of many, so her parents swooped in to save the day. Sort of. She now wears an ear piece in her left ear whenever she is out of the house, or around others that are not her immediate family. The people in the ear piece tell her what to do in situations, and how to act. And she does what she is told. Three different guys are speaking to her, and as far as she knows, they are her parents' friends' sons. But, that was a complete lie. Her parents want the best for her, but because they are always on business trips, they can't be there to guide her themselves. They scoured the globe looking for anyone to help her, and came across these guys from England. These guys are actually students looking for a person to start their project on. They want to just keep things low, but what will happen if Lily becomes more and more curious as to who is controlling her life. What are they going to do...

You know, I've never been the most normal girl. I only have one friend, I'm not interested in normal things, and I live in an orphanage. Yup, I'm an orphan. And just to add on to my fantastic life, I'm also deaf from the accident that killed my parents. On the 9th anniversary of my parents' death, I get the surprise of my life when my older brother, which I didn't know I had, makes an appearance. Before I know it I'm dragged into a world of crazy boys, obnoxious fans, and an old enemy just waiting to get his hands on me and my brother again. With my best friend obsessed with a band I can't hear, and my brother busy with his hectic life, I'm all alone. Welcome to my world of silence. How did I end up in this mess? Why do I have to be deaf? Note: This story has been entered in the 2014 Watty Awards. Wish me luck! #Wattys2014
