Slowly, a new connection had begin to form.
This was foreign from everything he had ever known and for the first time in his life he began to experience what fear is like. Love was silenced. A new reckoning that grew in him. He should be running from his after his failed attempt of trying to destroy it. He was never supposed to have this, and now he was.
And it can still go all wrong.
All he can muster these past few weeks is whispering, begging in the dark force for everything to be alright. He will hide away when the terrible thought filled his mind. He will not let her see his fear he will not do that to her. He is nervous and scared when she clutched on to him announcing the time has come.
To admit weakness was to admit defeat. He was a menace to his enemies, a now being weaken by this fragile creature he is open for attack. In Darth Maul's memory, fire was never gentle it claimed and destroyed everything in its way. He had never known fire to be so gentle and taming until now.

His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. My life was beginning to look brighter, until the day I was kidnapped by the First Order. This is where my story neither begins nor ends. This is when my story becomes dark, so dark that even a Sith Lord would tremble in fear. I don't own the Star Wars universe (duh) but I do own the main character and those that are not from SW.
