My heart soars into the abyss

As my heart sinks deeper into the abyss below, a titanic battle rages on in the furnace of my mind, the flames glow brighter, slowly they grow, until nothing but fire is left to find.

The fire will not surrender, give way to peace, it continues to burn, corrupting the heart, then come to the tears, water to make it cease, alas one must begin again from the start.

For even now as the fire dies down,
Only ashes will remain of the previous mind, look all you wish, there is nothing around, search forever, there's nothing to find.

One must start from scratch, rebuild from the beginning, from the foundations up, build solid and true, forgive past failures, mistakes and sins, for this time, for sure, you'll see it through.

Just refind the heart, and regain its trust,
Restore past confidence in you you must, do not fear, nor be afraid to fail,
The power of love will always prevail.
