A Mahabharat Fanfiction

Since birth, Bhargavi, the daughter of Subhadra, finds her mother all by herself.

"Your father is alive!" Subhadra assures.
"Then why hasn't he come back for us?" She thinks.

"You have an older brother!" Smiles Subhadra saying.
"Then why have I never heard of him?" She wonders.

"Your uncles have never let your mother shed a tear." Subhadra praises her brothers as they walk to the temple barefoot. And all Bhargavi notices are the wounds on her mother's hand, due to overworking in the fields.

"She is a Princess and her mother a Queen." She hears people gossip.
"But don't Princesses live in palaces?" Bhargavi thinks, looking at the tattered roof covering her house.

Join this journey of Bhargavi as she strives to learn her family's history. The history that her mother would die to keep away from her.
