18 years had passed since Maeve and Erawan had been defeated. That had been enough for Aelin and Rowan to finally settle down. They now lived, relatively happily, in Terrasen with their 17 year old daughter, Eiyres. All seems well until a new threat begins to arise, and a new prophecy begins to unfold.
