School's a total nightmare, and things at home with mom are a hot mess ever since dad passed away. Just when you're about to throw in the towel, you wake up in a hospital room, and to your shock, your dad's right there with you, but nothing makes sense with the memories you keep. Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what's going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye. Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other. --------------- I always felt like Donnie crushin' on April in the show was a bit off, especially 'cause she never felt the same way and it felt kind of forced. Chatted with my sis 'bout this ongoing plot in the series, and it hit me - the show could've been way cooler if April and Donatello had a tighter connection, giving 'em both the character development they deserved. Figured I had nothin' to lose, so this's what came outta that chat. Hope you dig it! First time putting words on paper, fingers crossed it ain't too shabby. The girl who mysteriously died in space, a soul that the Man in Moon had been watching since the day she was born. A mysterious, winged creature, an old enemy of his, noticed her when he saw the moon peeking into her window every night. Watching over her. This creature wanted him to suffer, so what he did was kidnap her and launch her into space by throwing her fast and hard enough, towards the moon. It made the Man in Moon kill her indirectly as she suffocated when the oxygen ran out from her lungs. She died in the crash, but her soul became trapped on the Moon. Now she was the ghost in the Moon. As punishment, the Man in Moon put this creature who cannot touch him into a long sleep. The girl was trapped there for a thousand years, talking to the Man in Moon, and after that thousand years, she became a spirit. New York City isn't the safest place with a rather high crime rate. But it's the state of opportunity. When a 15 year old named Y/N moves to New York with their family, they have a hard time adjusting to the new city life after having lived in a small town their whole life. With their parents' new jobs they have no choice but to comply and leave their old life behind. When Y/N gets into some basic city trouble with some not-so-nice mutants and yokai, they end up meeting a team of turtles and one seems to catch their eye. Red becomes their new favorite color and they get to know the group and make some new friends. While intimidating at first, the biggest of the four is a real sweetheart. Y/N can feel themself falling but refuses to believe it. Will the mutate ever like them back? Will Y/N except it? (it starts off kind of slow, with a bit of character build up, but I promise it'll get going around chapter 2-3!
