Kalzerath and his sister Kaida had been walking the roads of the world since Kalzerath was twelve. After a war between their own, Dragons, and the human kingdom of Mrethith, their only safety laid in the Elven mountains of Dresath.
They were almost there. They could see the peaks in the distance and yet, all it took was one human finding the truth before the siblings were thrown into cages.
Trapped like animals, there was little to nothing that Kalzerath could do this time to save his sister and himself. Perhaps she would be the only one leaving the hunters camp alive.
