Confrontation with Shockwave didn't pass without consequences, Optimus's spark began to decay, and the Matrix of Leadership decided that his successor will be... Megatron, who wants to finally end the war.
The Lost Light crew is on their way to find the Knights of Cybertron, and few of the crew know that their second captain is the new Prime. Moreover, Megatron himself doesn't know about it.

This is a separate story based on comics and has nothing to do with my main fanfic 'Transformers: Rebirth Of A Prime, the central character of which is also Megatron. Here characters look like in comics, but Megatron's altform is a fighter jet from the movie Transformers 2007. IDW Megatron's appearance is my second favorite after Animated.

P.S. Recently found out that there is an oficial comics with the same name. But I didn't read it. Who would have thought that all the Decepticon leader would need would be to meet his sworn enemy's sister? Originally called His Daughter, but has been rewritten to improve the writing in this story, and to allow it to be a little more fleshed out.

While the 21st century has seen great advances in technology due to the Transformers, there has also been a rise in criminals using robots and incidents involving bio-monsters, as well as other previously unheard-of disasters. So Chip, using the Forge Matrix, sets out to create the Braves, a group of Transformers born on Earth who fight for Earth's safety while the Autobots and Decepticons fight between each other.

Led by the obsessive Motormaster, who has only one goal in life: To kill Optimus to prove he is the king of the road. Now Earth is a complete war zone as it becomes a four-way struggle for control between the Autobots and the humans, Decepticons, Insecticons, and Starscream. As we draw near to the end of phase 1 with an ending that we all know and fear, can the Autobots win the most important battle of their lives?
