Confrontation with Shockwave didn't pass without consequences, Optimus's spark began to decay, and the Matrix of Leadership decided that his successor will be... Megatron, who wants to finally end the war.
The Lost Light crew is on their way to find the Knights of Cybertron, and few of the crew know that their second captain is the new Prime. Moreover, Megatron himself doesn't know about it.
This is a separate story based on comics and has nothing to do with my main fanfic 'Transformers: Rebirth Of A Prime, the central character of which is also Megatron. Here characters look like in comics, but Megatron's altform is a fighter jet from the movie Transformers 2007. IDW Megatron's appearance is my second favorite after Animated.

P.S. Recently found out that there is an oficial comics with the same name. But I didn't read it. In my fanfic 'Redemption' means that Autobots also have to redeem themselves and Megatron eventually must become the new Leader of Cybertron... if he can let go of the past.

Involuntary(TFA/Bee-Centric)
"So, 'Autobot'...do we have a deal?" Megatron asked with interest, waiting to see if the Minibot would take the bite at his offer. Bumblebee still wasn't sure. He couldn't die, couldn't go offline, not yet. He wanted to see his team again. He wanted payback of some sort or at least some sort of closure. No matter the cost. He didn't want to...but he had to. For now, only one thing ran through his fractured and aching processor. Survive. ~~~~~~~~~~ Bumblebee, the sweet spark goofball, who dreamed of being an Elite Guard. Bee can be a handful due to his obnoxious personality, his childish behavior, his procrastination, and much more. However, things take a turn for the worse as his team grows tired of his antics, resulting in an argument that could've led to better or worse. Then during the attempt to stop The Space Bridge, in the midst of the battle, Bumblebee gets kidnapped and taken. For Stellar Cycles, Bumblebee goes through the worst. Being a prisoner, training to fight & kill, forced to move on from all he once knew and had, do as he's told, & become a Con. The only thing Bee wanted was to find value in himself, to survive, to truly see if his former team moved on in life without him.
Lost and Found (TFP)
The Autobots and Decepticons were fighting as usual for Energon when they plunged into a hole, falling unceremoniously into the abyss. There was one massive Energon in the middle of the place, far bigger than the usual Energon crystals. Things took a turn when the crystal glowed brightly, enveloping the bots and transporting them to somewhere. There was a catch though. They are now tiny and sparkling-like. Transformers: Rebirth Of A Prime (English Version = ON HOLD)
My very old fanfic about Megatron and his human friend Yalara Starshine. The Decepticon leader loses his memories and meets a girl who keeps a fragment of the Allspark. The transformer doesn't know who he is, so the girl gives him a new name Black Whirlwind. But such an important figure like Megatron can't be kept in secret for long. The war between two Factions is going to end, but a new enemy will come, so Cybertronians and Earthlings must unite. Megatron will have to face ghosts of the past and save the human planet. This story contains three parts of many chapters, and I also have ideas for prequel and sequel. Started writing it back at school (in Russian) in 2009 and only now decided to continue. Sparkmates Book 2
The crew for the Ark was one of the last Autobot's ship to leave Cybertron, and have been on earth for months now hiding from the Decepticons. Fire Flare one of the crew member talks to Elita One that died on Cybertron. Elita One says Team Prime needs help and show Fire Flare the coordinates to the city that Team Prime base is close to. What Fire Flare does not know is by going to help Team Prime will change her life forever. The end In the last chapter of Sparkmates [As everyone welcomed Smokescreen to the team, Bulkhead in the background looked at them with sadness in his optics. Miko and Orion heard him so both of them went over to him to try and cheer him up. But Bulkhead turned around and started limping away from them as Miko was still trying to cheer him up. "Bulkhead?"
