POV: When I entered the top of the steps all eyes found their way over to me. My dress was a beautiful dress, the color was simple but elegant rose gold. I felt as though I was floating as I made my way down the steps and to the ballroom floor. The one person I hoped to impress looked at me in mortification when all of the sudden I felt a rush of cold fall over me.
