Told from Neville Longbottom's perspective, we enter the seventh and final year at Hogwarts amid a looming war. Harry Potter has disappeared. In the wake of Professor Dumbledore's death, Severus Snape has taken it upon himself to run the castle. And evil takes a new form in Amycus and Alecto Carrow as they fill in positions as self-proclaimed professors.

With things looking so bleak, Neville must stifle his fear and lead what remains of the student population within the castle, and protect those who may be helpless. However, he is not alone; by his side are the familiar faces of Seamus Finnigan, Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, and more of Dumbledore's Army.
