On each teenagers sixteenth birthday, they receive a power that is unique to them. Ashton Fields has been awaiting his special day since he learned about it in grade school. 

Sixteen-year-olds are like the stars, like the universe, some stars shine brighter than others, some star's light takes years to reach the eye...

And some stars never get to shine at all.
