From a young age Honna had been betrothed to the Fire Nation prince. She was taught etiquette and how to be a queen from the moment Zuko and her were betrothed at the young age of 5 years old. She was expected to be by Zuko's side all of her life so when Zuko was banished she went with him. Her honor depended on him, and although their relationship wasn't ideal in the beginning friendship blossoms along a long journey.
