Corin is a weapon. He lives to be wielded by the Aurek royal family, who took him in after he burned his past down behind him.
When the four are thrown together into an unlikely and desperate journey, they mutually agree that their temporary alliance cannot last. However, their travels across the war-torn land of Leilanth reveal more questions than they do answers - and that their opposing mortal alliances might be the least of the problems at hand.
