Miranda Styke was an ordinary girl, waitressed at a local Olive Garden, lived in a small apartment in Dallas, Texas, and tried to save up for college.
David Brinkman was a wealthy man who most people thought as intimidating. He was a top bachelor in the States, and every girl wanted him. Although, Miranda didn't really like him.
While Miranda was walking home from work, a gang of college boys jumped her, trying take her clothes off. Mysteriously, David appeared and beat them away. Miranda was thankful, but didn't really like the look in his eyes. He asked her if she would like to meet him at his house for some dinner the following night. The kind girl that she is, she accepted.
What she didn't know, was that he was the alpha of a state-wide werewolf pack, and that she was his mate- with a little bit of sex in between. Somehow, Miranda finds a powerful creature hidden in her subconcious, and it wanted out.
After she found out that Joshua, the alpha of alphas all across the Americas, knew of this creature, Miranda runs.
