Rapists, murderers, robbers, vandilizers, gunmen, homeless, thieves, hookers, prostitutes. Welcome to New York City. We've got it all.
At first glance, New York City is just what it seems to be in the movies: beautiful, diverse, colorful, joyful, lively. And at second glance, New York becomes the wasted city. The most horrible, cruel city around. And that's usually it. People only take first and second glances. I did too. But then I took a third. I took a third glance at the world that I grew up in. The world that spewed so much hatred and anger. And I didn't see hate. I saw love.
I believe that every bad guy has a good side. I believe that under New York City's hateful cover is a world full of promises. After all, New York City is my home. I would never abandon my city. I will do everything in my power to protect the city that gave me something to live for. Even if it requires me to become one of New York City's worst beings. But then again, I'm used to this. This is NYC. Welcome to my world. Welcome home.
