She lives a sheltered, home-schooled life until the day she turns 20, when her mundane life gets ripped away from her with almost no warning. Without the only guidance she has ever known, she is thrust into a wholly unfamiliar world on the brink of war. Will Izidora be able to find the strength to get home? Or will she stay and fight to protect the land she feels oddly drawn to?
