Dealing with his home life is already enough of a struggle for Castiel Novak. Doing his best to prove himself to distance himself from his family name, he works hard as an officer of the law, balancing work life, romantic life, and personal life with only minor struggles. He does his best not to think about what he can remember from his childhood, but he's forced to relive his past as Lt. John Winchester gives him his latest case. "Take the Novaks down for good." His partner, Dean Winchester, is there to help support him through his anxiety, his brother, Gabriel Novak, is there to help him through the trauma, and his closest friend, Sam Winchester, is there to just listen. With the three of them by his side, he hopes he can make it through this case with little to no casualties, but with a sudden change in plans, things are definitely not going the way Castiel had hoped.

"I guess you could say me and Gabe are basically two sides of the same coin. One side is mortality, the other is pretty much immortality. We're both connected by our past pain. Normally soulmates mirror someone almost exactly, right? Maybe I'm destined to be with him." Sam Winchester has been living most of his life as an outcast and disgrace to his family. He always tried his best to make things right, but was always criticised for doing so as it usually led to bigger problems. He never felt comfort until he met the archangel Gabriel, who seemed to reflect his story almost entirely. Is it purely coincidence, or were they meant to be?
