(Editing incomplete) Jurassic Park went down in history as a disastrous failure, an idea with good intentions that went horribly awry. For Dr Alan Grant and Dr Ellie Sattler, the two were happy to return to a life strictly dealing with bones. Despite the terrible things they had come to witness, their love for the creatures that had once roamed the Earth had yet to dwindle and carried on into their legacy. Raised among two of the most world-renowned dinosaur experts, their daughter, Keira Grant is next in line to carry on the work of her parents. With a palaeontologist for a father and a paleobotanist as a mother, Keira's life is strictly dino-related from the time of her birth and it comes as no surprise when she decides to follow in the steps of her parents. However, Alan and Ellie never anticipated that their daughter would be roped into the same trap that they had fallen into all those years before. With the opening of Jurassic World theme park, Keira is lured to the appeal of working with the creatures she has learned so much about over the years, along with the promise from the park itself that things will be different this time around. With new safety precautions put into place, along with advanced technology, Jurassic World is deemed safe and the park is opened with Keira working among the herbivores on site. But things certainly begin to change when Keira meets up once more with ever-flirtatious and aloof, Owen Grady the Raptor Trainer as he steps into her territory. Owen and Claire win custody of Maisie and the three are ready to be a family until Claire wakes up to find Maisie gone from their temporary trailer home. It doesn't take long to realize Maisie has been kidnapped, but by whom? The clock is ticking as Owen and Claire race to find Maisie. They're willing to go to great lengths to get their daughter back, even if it means trusting the company that destroyed them. Dinosaurs roamed the Earth over 65 million years ago, but in 1993, a man by the name of John Hammond with the help of geneticist introduced them to a new world. He brought in several people to the island of Isla Nublar in order to endorse the idea of a dinosaur theme park. A park where people could interact with living and breathing dinosaurs. Among those people were Dr. Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler. The park trial failed resulting in death and the shut down of Jurassic Park. In 2015, Simon Masrani and his company Masrani Global had shown their interpretation of John Hammond's dream with Jurassic World amusement park operating in full swing. However, the park went into full chaos when a hybrid called the Indominus Rex escaped and wreaked havoc all over until it was stopped by heroes Keira Grant and Owen Grady with the help of friends and trusty (somewhat) velociraptors. Jurassic World was in shambles and was turned into a sanctuary, redesigned to protect the dinosaurs. After hitting a few speed bumps, Isla Nublar became a safe haven. Theodore Alan Grady was born under the two legends who run the sanctuary. Growing up from birth in the presence of dinosaurs, seeing an Apatosaurus sun bathing is nothing to look twice at for the teenager. Living on an island where every animal there is considered a miracle, Theo is trying to find his own calling.
