Half and Half

Since the beginning of time, werewolves and vampires have always been enemies. There is a known treaty between them to try not to cross each other's paths and to never step foot in each other's territories. If any one of these rules are broken, hell will break loose between them; war will happen. When Kimmie Flores and Gray Woods end up going to the same high school, it was like they never stopped being friends for four years. Everything felt perfect between them. It was like he never had gotten adopted by his aunt and uncle when he was 10 and that she got "abandoned" by him at the foster home. Deep down she always knew it wasn't his choice, but she couldn't help but blame him a little and be jealous. She always wanted some sort of parental love and she prayed every night that she would eventually get adopted by some family, but that dream never came true.

Although everything felt perfect between them, they both had a deep secret that they couldn't tell each other. When a new family moved into town, a mysterious boy joined their school; Devin Spencer. He had this intimating, yet captivating vibe and Kimmie couldn't help but be intrigued by him. Without her knowing, she started to form a crush on him. Gray noticed this and did everything he could to prevent this crush from developing further. This mysterious boy turned out to be 125 year old Vampire and Gray knew from the beginning. How? Because he is a werewolf and vampires and werewolves have been long-time enemies. Not only was he itching to kill his enemy, but also because the love of his life is starting to stray farther and farther away from. He just got her back; he couldn't possibly let the love of his life throw away her life for his enemy.

One major secret that both Gray and Devin didn't know about Kimmie is that she is actually half mortal, half immortal...When all these deep, dark secrets come out; hell, war and everything starts to break loose.
