Just some things that are cannon in this story. First off, all events of AOC are NOT cannon as it is a spin-off of BOTW, and doesn't take place in the same universe. 2nd, Link has done all DLCs, that is trial of the sword and whatever the other one was. Link has read all diaries of all the champions including Zelda. Link has also completed Tarry Town as well as getting the thunder helm from gerudo town.

This is part 2 of my fanfic series, so If you haven't read the prequel of this story "Botw Reimagined: The Past", I highly recommend reading it before starting on this if you don't want to get confused. Moving from the past of breath of the wild, we finally get to the game portion of the story. Time has passed. Hyrule is getting rebuilt. Zelda on the other hand is not quite sure what to do. She is no longer a princess, She's a queen with responsibilities. A dark force is looming. Old friends are getting rediscovered but that boy. That man. Link. There's an unfinished story with him. This is my take on the universe. There will be new characters that aren't canon. There will be a few POV swaps but let's see if I can make this a cohesive story.
