Having a physco for a grandmother wasn't really on Alexandra Parker's wish list. Well, now that she thought about it, a lot that has happened wasn't on her wish list. Forced to move schools, realized all her friends were fake, and broke up with her boyfriend all in the span of two short weeks. 

What makes it even worse is that the neighborhood, or should she say forest, she moved to is quite strange. There's glittering castles, deep dark forests, and Alex swears she caught a glimpse of a spinning wheel once. 

And a "royal announcement" went out yesterday explaining that the prince was on a search for a missing girl he fell in love with at a ball. 

Sooner rather than later, Alex regains the truth about this mysterious land.

And they need her help. 

But stories can be a little twisted.
