A Destiny 2 fanfiction. Part 1: New Light. When the Traveler arrived, a spherical deity with paracausal powers known as the Light, humanity prospered and thrived. This saga is NOT intended to be 100% lore accurate, and should be taken as an alternate timeline from the main canon. The twist being that the playable "Guardian" character, who is known to be a blank-slate one-man-army amongst a roster of developed characters, is instead a team of multiple Guardians who all have their own backstories and personalities. The plot of this saga will follow the plot of the game its based on closely, but not exactly.
