What makes something really a human? Is it biological? Spiritual? Neurological? Or does a human really even exist? A reclusive man ignores these questions as he pushes the boundaries of technology to please his own ego. This man has never known the feeling of true human connection and longs to gain or imitate it at any cost. His final effort to make a connection with another consciousness is in the form of his Artificial Intelligence program. He tries to raise this unique childlike being, but suffers similar problems that he did with humans. Is it something greater or spiritual? Something artificial and imitory? Inventing the first, true, artificial intelligence was never part of Pons' plan. An average, if under-achieving college student, he wanted nothing more than to struggle his way through graduation and pray for a job to pay down his debt. Thing is, you don't get to choose your destiny. With friends growing suspicious and the CIA's vultures circling, Pons' greatest burden is also his greatest asset.
