The King's Goddess

Maximus Black, Alpha of the Royal pack and Alpha King, has been searching for his mate for 14 years. Now at the age of 30 he is beginning to wonder if he was even blessed with one. Whenever he tours the packs around the world he is always on the look out for his mate. After returning from one of his trips, Maximus is doing a perimeter run with his men when they stumble across something. Just inside the borders, next to a fallen tree, is a crumpled and bloody body of a woman. Normally Maximus has rouges taken to the dungeons and tortured. But something stops him. Kneeling down, while his men stand guard in their wolf form, Maximus turns the woman's face towards him. He looks into the most beautiful violet eyes as his wolf shouts "Mate" in his mind just before the woman passes out. Maximus is devastated at the condition of his mate but ecstatic that he has finally found her. He needs to find out what happened to her so he can protect her. He also needs to find out where she is from because she didn't smell like a rouge but she didn't smell like she was from the Royal pack. Her smell was unique.
