And it was time I learned that basic lesson. I never thought things would end up like this. I never thought that my heart would ever feel so divided between two people, precisely because I never thought that love was a divisible value. I needed, and maybe I still do, to believe in the natural process, the classical interpretation of love ; where you meet the one, and things flow from there in the most calm way one can ever think of. But it hasn't been like that for me. I tried to stop it, I tried to reason everything and find some sense into the whole mess that was created. And I failed. Because the heart wants what it wants.
