Rosalise doesn't have any friends, she considers her teachers her friends if anything. Her life is the same cycle.
Wake up, eat, go to school, get bullied, go home, eat some more, go to sleep, repeat.
Nothing changes. That was until Adriel came into the picture.
Adriel just got released from juvie to finish her senior year of high school. She has no intention of trying to do her work or being good. All she cares about is causing havoc everywhere she goes.
But the thing is, her parents don't want her living in their house with them, so they call up their good friends Roberto and Allison (Rosalise's parents) to take care of her.
