In 2015, I sat in the library observing the bodies that floated outside, on the pavement below the glass building. That place, that time, the feeling, it still feels like I'm there and time has stood still. I was trying to remember to breathe by counting the dark shadows cast from the bodies below.
One morning I woke up with an anxiety attack, and I decided that week I would fight back by toughing it out. But i don't have words for how it feels to be alone and scared and all you can think of to take your mind off of your own thoughts is to tell yourself a story. So I did. I narrated the world below.
The One-shots revolve around the journey of a devoted single father navigating the complexities of parenthood and his deepening bond with his sons.
Each story highlights the unique challenges and heartwarming moments they share, capturing the essence of love, resilience, and the unbreakable ties of family.
