Love stories are terrifying. The countless romance tropes and happy endings just are not real to the degree we wish they were. What are the chances that your enemy, someone you loath, suddenly becomes the one for you? A solid 0%. But it's exciting to read about right? It's exciting to look at a realm of possibilities in the world of fiction because it makes you feel that much more hopeful. We would be fools to rush into that hope though, the mere idea of love is terrifying.
