"Don't come to a strip club looking for love. That shit doesn't belong here." she warned. I knew that she was right. Still, I didn't accept her statement. "You're leaving now because you can't kill me! You don't have the guts because you're in love with me" I said in anger as I try to sit up. My whole body is so weak right now. She stopped from walking away to face me. There's no denying now that she and Violet are the same person. "Don't be so full of yourself Lieutenant. I'm leaving not because I can't kill you, I'm leaving because I definitely can" she said coldly before pulling the trigger of her gold pistol. I gasped in so much pain as my body fell down the floor. The person that I trust and fell in love with is the same person that I want dead. I gazed up to the ceiling as my tears started to fall before everything went blank. Sky Montreal did everything she could to be the youngest captain of the SWAT elite team in replacement of her brother Michael, that was murdered by Lady Mystique. She will do everything to kill her to avenge Michael. Lady Mystique trained so hard to be the best assassin and the future leader of the Triad. She will do everything to kill the person that murdered her beloved mother. What will happen if Sky finds out that the person that she fell in love with is Lady Mystique? What will happen if Lady Mystique falls in love with the person that she's supposed to kill? How far can they go to avenge their loved ones? She makes her smile, she is lovely, and she always knows how to make a good joke. Until a very tempting affair entangles them. She warms her bed, and she fills her life. Have you ever felt so broken that you couldn't pull yourself out of bed and continue to live your life like you used to. A simple task such as tying your shoes already seems like a huge burden on your account. Struggling with yourself because everything around you doesn't matter anymore. That's mainly because she broke my heart. Who knew love could turn a person around. Who knew love would hurt this bad. Who knew love can make you feel numb. A simple word yet it has an enormous impact in everyone's life. Everything happens for a reason, and I'm not blaming it all on her, though there are things you just wish you could take back and redo because of the feeling it gave you. And because of those traumatic event, I turned into a complete opposite of me. Well, that's until I met...her. You'd think that I've learned my lesson but she's different. I'm that cold-hearted until she drop down here on earth and save my miserable, sorry ass. A girl who doesn't know how to give up. A girl who's filled with happiness in a way that if you stare at her, there's this feeling you can't explain and it just lightens your mood. A girl who's friends with everyone because of her pure and innocent soul. A girl that can certainly light up a god d*mn world with her personality. ... And a girl who made me feel again. A girl who made me fall in love again. A girl who made me forget all the things that I've been through because she made my present more than just worth living, and my future to be worth looking forward to. "What do you want?" I mentally roll my eyes. "Can I not talk to my favorite girl?" She smiles walking dangerously close to me. Standing up from my chair I decide to move away from her to put some distance between us. "No you cannot talk to me, not anymore at least." I say "Oh come on now, you always like being close and now you're moving away?" She teased while backing me up against my desk. Thinking back to earlier today, I would have let her get her way and kiss me, so what changed? "Fuck it, just kiss me one last time." I finally give in. ☽｡⋆ After having to leave her home town behind due to an accident with her best friend, Ada Ashley is scared to get close to anyone again. She had to leave behind her family and friends to start over, it's always scary but she knows she has to do this. She just hopes she can even make a single friend. Everyone in their right mind knows who Raya Thatcher is, rising punk rock star hard to miss her even when she's just walking down the street. Due to a security breach, Raya has to fire her manager and is on the hunt for someone who can live up to that job. What will happen when Raya and Ada meet in a bar? Will Raya finally be able to find a manager or maybe even more?
Words of life
This book is for you, who wants to read about what life can be like, most of the times. This book has reminders, poetry, tips and tricks, quotes, texts about meaning with life, happy moment and even sad moments. A little bit of everything life can throw at you. I have no filter to this book. Which means it's raw and genuine, and that is the goal. (You don't necessarily have to read from start to finish) If you for an example have a bad day, I have a chapter for you about seeing it thru a different perspective than what people normally tell you. Or if you feel like you want to know what happiness is or feels like, I have different definition of that in different chapters for you my dear! (And many more chapters, about everything you could think of) And maybe you know all of this already, and it glads me to hear.
