Miriam Windsor lives in a world she despises. She often feels alone and that apart of her is missing ever since her parents died in a freak 'accident'. She knows the truth though, what the government is really like. She thinks she is one of the only people who sees through the facade the government puts on until she meets Finnick Benton.

Finnick Benton has known of the governments horrible lies mostly all his life, his parents had been casted out of the city because they knew of the truth. Finnick was living in a orphanage when a nameless man came to him and recruited him for an agency to help take down the government.

What happens when Finnick decides to recruit and train Miriam for the same reason he had been trained? Will she be able to handle the pressure or will she crack under the task she feels she is meant to complete? Will Finnick's and Miriam's relationship be something more than just this task?
