Janus is in a bit of a situation. For once, his scheming and plotting skills abandoned him. And now he had to deal with the consequences of the lies he used to wield like weapons.

Roman believed in true love. He was convinced he found it. And then when it turned in on itself, Roman broke. Nothing would ever be the same again.

Note: This  inspired by a TikTok by @kaloe_vera. It was angsty, so I had no choice I had to write it. Go watch it.

This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Logan, Roman, Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders. I don't know what ships will be in this or if there even will be any, but I'm assuming I'll end up adding either Moceit, Loceit, or Roceit. Logan BlackBerry the man in town known for being odd and the local bookworm, finds himself with Roman Creation begging for his hand in marriage for the reason being that he is the fairest in the town making him the 'best'. Of course Roman won't take no for an answer for the sake of his victorious ego that drives Logan up the wall. However when his best friend and room-mate Virgil Thorn ends up missing from leaving to go to the market. Logan takes off to find himself at the steps of a cold, dark, and unkept castle that gives him shivers up his spine just looking at it. Inside the castles empty halls lurks a beast, will Logan be able to save his friend and himself? Or will this castle and the beast be the cause of his doom? (I don't own any of the Sanders Sides characters, or the Beauty and The Beast movie plot, etc. Thomas Sanders owns Sanders Sides, and Disney owns Beauty and the beast). Janus 'Deceit' Sanders and Remus 'Duke' Sanders have been bestfriends since the split, though Janus acted as the responsible, adult one despite being the same age. Remus had always been vocal about his feelings until Virgil left, calling him too emotional. Janus had always been the one to lock his feelings and emotions away never really showing them. He did this ever since he was a child, wanting to show little weakness and to be strong for the others. These both came with major consequences, Remus often found it difficult to voice his feelings out without getting mad at himself or someone else for how he was feeling. Janus had to find other ways to cope with his feelings, mostly unhealthy. But what happens when these two dorks fall for each other? I'll tell you, mutual pinning and miscommunication, with tons of angst with some hurt/comfort fluff.
