Every ten years King of the underworld comes to earth to select a bride. It was the curse of the tormented land. Legends and stories of the monster were the bedtime stories for her small village. His necromancers roamed the earth every night stealing innocent souls. When she was young Nina watched necromamcers take her parents lives.
Years later on the decade of the selection Nina prepares herself. She knew what she had to do. She was going down the Seele with the King and she would end the curse and get her revenge if it was the last thing she did.
Thaddeus isn't the necromancing monster Nina expects and neither is the Underworld.
