Matt is a 12-year-old boy who acquires the ability to hear and see visions by sniffing something that was used. He just moved to an Illinois town called Galena with his 20-year-old sister, Anna, along with his 21-year-old boyfriend, Nick, who was a police officer.
One day it was midnight on a full moon and she was in a car accident together with Nick, at the same time as the murder of Sir Magnus Lund's 10-year-old son. At first they both survived, but then on the way to the hospital, Matt said that Nick lost consciousness and that sadly, he died of blood loss.
Since Nick was a police officer, 3 days after the accident, Matt decides to find out who murdered Magnus Lund's son as he also discovers that he acquired superpowers in the car accident, which makes him realize that was the way he survived.
Will Matt discover the truth about everything? Will he survive?
