Diamond King is average, maybe even less than that.

Arabia, Mississippi might be the most crime riddled, perilous parts of the deep south, but there was nothing average about it...It was fate that she stood out.

Transitioning to high school won't be an easy task for her to handle, even greater now that she is a dancer in the school's illustrious band. The sheltered life she knew, would have to go if she was going to grow a spine strong enough to support her. Her high school experience will be nothing short of gut-wrenching, she'll be exposed to things a young girl shouldn't be.

However, it's not all her fault. All she wanted was to dance, but a very unlikely and untimely foe will swoop in and ruin her agenda, replacing it with his. The second she thought she was just a normal girl, this ego maniac pulls her into a dangerous reality she never thought would exist in her world. A reality he possessed, had power over. A reality that would require her to grow up...way too soon.

Regardless of having to take one day at a time in this new era of her life, she has no clue about the stormz on the horizon.

"Hey! She already said she was sorry. What more do you want?!" I screamed loudly in his face. His face turned from angry to shocked. No one had ever yelled at him that way at school before. He narrowed his eyes at me."She ruined a very expensive shirt so she needs to be punished for it," he responded, his green eyes lit with hate and anger. "So?! You probably have a million other shirts just like it. You spoiled rich boys have no respect for others. You think you're better than everyone else. Well, let me tell you, you are the worst of the worst." I said. I couldn't believe what I had just said. I realized I had given myself a death sentence as the words flew out my mouth. Duke was quiet for a few moments then he finally replied. "You better watch what you say girly," he said as he brushed past my shoulder. His two buddies following him from behind. I couldn't believe what I just did. It felt so invigorating. I felt as though I had an adrenalin rush. I knew that this feeling would not last for long though because I just gave the H3 a new target.
