World Undone: The Battle of Ozone Park

This is a sample from my new 300 page novel "World Undone". It is based around my "Trigger World" short stories in 2006, and I hope you like it!

THE STORY SO FAR
A new drug hits the streets, scrambling the brain chemistry of all those who take it, rapidly transforming America's millions of drug addicts into the frenzied killing machines known as triggers.

With their bodies decomposing and minds completely unhinged, these real-life zombies are terrifyingly fast and inhumanly strong, capable of withstanding dozens of gunshot wounds, while inflicting acts of sickening violence against anybody unlucky enough to encounter them.

Amid the chaos, a rag tag group of strangers find themselves thrust together, with their only hope of survival being an evacuation point at a nearby airfield. But as they try to reach it in time, they quickly discover that the triggers are not the only threat they face.
