"Lany went to see her Dads family up North and well, I'm here." I say. He looked over at me as if I wasn't being serious.
"So you're alone on the Holidays." He says more like a question.
"Yea. It's fine though, really." I say shaking it off.
"Why don't you come over my house while your alone." He says.
"I can't. I'll be a bother." I say shaking my head.
"Not at all. We'll go after work." He says. I gave up fighting with him and agreed.

Just like every other Chrimbo, I was forsaken unless you call that one dreadful phone call from my mother asking me to come home as a formality. +++ I live a simple independent life, where I'm the CFO of Prientice Empire, have a few amazing friends and live in a luxurious apartment. Celeste Gray thought it would be nice to stay in a cabin in the woods. Being able to be alone, left with her thoughts, finding nature, and the nice cozy feeling of warmth were what she needed. Which led her to book/rent out a cabin for the whole month of December. Spending the holidays alone shouldn't be too bad. I mean, there's a reason she's alone in the first place; this is what she needed to move on with her life. So everything should be fine. Celeste was wrong about that because the moment she decided to take that trail in the woods, she knew she fucked up. Especially when she saw Santa Clause, not dropping off gifts, not with his reindeer or his sleigh, but standing over a dead body. She just saw Santa kill someone. Ji-Cheol Kim is not your average man, he does something for a living that is not for everyone, but someone has to do it, especially when it's getting justice in a way for people who deserve justice done that way. He was doing his job, which he is very good at when someone who wasn't supposed to be there ended up being there. Now his plans have changed, which led him to do something he doesn't mind doing, finally being able to spend the holidays with someone. Even if the person doesn't want that, she has no choice but to accept it. Neither of them was expecting this to happen. Two people from different worlds who ended up bumping into each other are now spending the holidays together. This was far from being a Christmas miracle. "Love isn't real" I mumbled looking down at me shaking hands. I felt his breath on my neck as he stood behind me. One of his hands was sliding up my hip to rest on my waist squeezing softy. Declan worked in a place his father owned not by choice but by force. His father ran a Secret restaurant worked by people who didn't have a job. They served in revealing outfits and the customers could treat them however they pleased. Declan was the most liked for his female features and body, he looked just like his mother which his father hated. He father made him feel useless, always saying rude and mean things and overall didn't care about what happened to him. He punished him when he did something wrong and never rewarded him when he was good and did his job well. Once upon a time, I was your typical good girl, doing my job like a total elf star, no complaints. Even with the little "gift" I was born with (aka my disability), I handled life pretty well.
