Almost 2000 years after the war that narrowly destroyed Earth and the parallel realm planet called Vernon, the gated country of Renaan, took pride in becoming a loving new home for mortal creatures and magic dwellers alike. For Anim, a 20 year old with magni blood, living in remnants of Toronto, taking care of his terminally ill mother, all he wanted to do was assist in the hope of finding a cure to a deadly disease that wreaks havoc on the nearly destroyed planet; a consequence of a dark energy weapon known only as, The Void.

Just like his father once did

But once a pod crash took the lives of a neighboring gatelands monarch and citizens, leaving only a handful of survivors, including the Monarch's warrior daughter injured in an enchanted forest, behind Anim's home, his world is quickly opened to the many dark secrets hiding within.

As he struggles to come to grips with his new reality, along with a dark growing force beckoning, Anim must decided to fight and save the ones he loves, or allow a powerful force and the deadly secrets, make him choose between becoming the hero or the villain.
