Chrollo has known Hisoka for a while, he joined the Trope as he killed the previous #4 spider and took their place, about five years ago he introduced him to a friend of his, Illumi Zoldcky. At first sight, he was breathtaking, despite the fact he was covered in bruises and scratches from a mission he had just completed, over time he began to hang out with the duo, falling in love with the raven-haired male, he was just so sweet and pure despite the fact he grew up in a family of assassins.

But when he confessed to Hisoka about his dying love for him, only to find out he feels the same way about the raven, resulting in a nasty argument as neither of them would back down. Both were determined to win the pale raven heart, no matter what.
