Frankie Casselman has been reassigned to be the Captain over the Lake County Emergency Training Center.  This year the center is hosting its first recruit training school and it's the former Marines Job to make it the best school in South Carolina.  There's only one thing he's worried about, his best friend's son is one of his first recruits.

Based on real-life experiences of firefighters The Lake County Series follows the crew of Station 21 and their families.  Forged in Flames is the follow up to my first book Through the Flames, soon to be released under the Olympia label.
