"It's a reunion from hell."

While death is inevitable, grieving is something no one should wish to go through.

Longing for something or someone should not even be felt.

The anger that turns into a blood-seeking monster within should not even manifest.

And the past that was left in the dark will always come to hunt you back.

Available on iBooks, Amazon, B&N, and Kobo. Clickable links on my profile. One summer is all they have ... A chance encounter at a party brings Lance and Abby together. Lance just graduated and has a summer internship. His parents expect him to come back to Texas to work in the family business at the end of the summer. He likes to have fun and doesn't want to be tied down too soon. Until he meets Abby. Abby still has two years left of college and a mom who keeps her anchored near the town where she grew up. She is cautious in relationships, not letting people close. But Lance's persistence wears down her defenses. Knowing Lance is leaving, Abby tells herself it's just a summer fling. Will that be enough to keep her from falling in love? "Someone knocked into Abby from behind. She lurched forward against the guy's chest, crushing her cup against his abs and splashing the remains of her soda all over both of them. "Gah!" he shouted in surprise. He had instinctively grabbed her upper arms to steady her when she ran into him, but pushed her away slightly when he felt the soda soaking his shirt. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry," she gasped. He stood there with his arms out looking down at the mess on his shirt. Then he looked at the matching stain on her shirt and his lips twitched like he was suppressing a smile. He cleared his throat. "It's okay," he said. There was laughter in his voice. She noticed that his eyes seemed to be glued to her shirt, and she looked down. Abby gasped again. Her light pink tank was nearly see through now that it was wet." Check out Pinterest for my inspiration board for Summer Fling: www.pinterest.com/jericamacmillan/summer-fling
My Ex - Crush, écrit par thefadedwhite

"I wish I had never met you!" Deepika's voice echoed across the classroom, each word a dagger to my heart. "Excellent! At least we finally agree on something!" I fired back, even as a tear betrayed the storm of emotions within me. With those final, stinging words, Deepika stormed out, leaving a heavy silence in her wake. The classroom felt like a graveyard, and I stood there, rooted to the spot, desperately wishing I could chase after her and demand the truth. Maybe letting her go was the right choice. Perhaps this is meant to be my unfinished love story, a tale of what-ifs and almosts... ✨ No Deepika. This can't be his bike. Not Arjun's. But I couldn't deny what I saw-the familiar brown Royal Enfield, now twisted and crushed. My heart hammered as I circled around, hoping, praying it wasn't true, until my gaze landed on the number plate: TN56 0809. Arjun's bike. Deepika! Stop imagining things! Arjun would be fine! I felt the world shift, the noise around me blurring into a single, deafening hum. Ambulance and police sirens echoed, and a stranger's voice broke through: "Two boys. Spot dead. College students." I clutched my chest, gasping for air as reality slammed into me. "Arjun..." I whispered, barely holding myself together. Tears stung my face as I sank beside the wreck. "No, Please, No!" My voice cracked as the weight of regret settled in, suffocating me. ✨ Ex-Crush: More than just a crush, but a little less than love. ✨ Arjun and Deepika were hopelessly in love-only they never realized it. Will they find their way to each other, or will their love story remain forever unfinished? ✨ Join Arjun and Deepika on a journey back to those dreamy college days-days where every moment felt eternal, love was unspoken yet ever present, where friendship bloomed like wildflowers, offering a sanctuary from the harsh winds of reality. Come, wander with them through the corridors of college days, where the echoes of laughter still linger.
