Mara is an Octoling grow up in Octo Canyon. She has been taught to hate Inklings and kill them (or capture them) on sight. After helping steal the "Great" Zapfish and kidnap Callie, Mara is approved to help fight the inkling and take them down once and for all. But once she starts she realizes how terrible the thing she is doing are. After getting her act together she go and try's to help the Inklings. Only a few believe and the rest... they try to kill her. On the verge of being caught she has to act fast.
Note: I do not most of the characters credit goes to the creators of Splatoon 2

First of all thanks for reading this and I hope you'll stick to the end and find the story entertaining. Secondly, I am a big fan of Splatoon though I am still a bit of a newbie to it. Most likely I could miss out on certain details so don't hesitate to point those out to me. I'm also open to any more suggestions to improve this fanfiction. I will now be posting everything unedited and unfinished for the sake of not feeling bad about the "talent" that middle school me felt when writing this. I wrote this because I couldn't find a good Splatoon 2 fanfic and decided I'd do it myself, I still use that kind of motivation to write things like music now 💀 Eyyy, so i was playing Squid Splat earlier and felt inspired! Reader is female in this book! (Sorry to you guys...i might make a gender bend? Idk) THIS IS A STORY! YES A STORY!! Yaaay!~ Anyway uh Y/n = Your name Blah blah blah... Y/n isn't like most inklings. She can still turf and fight and do what most inklings do, but what makes her stand out is her colors. Her colors aren't like other inklings you see in Inkopolis. Like Marie and Pearl. Her hair color is white and changes color depending on what she wants and almost always changes her hair style. She also changes eye color constantly. So sometimes no one even recognizes her. She heard of rumors of the old subway station and she's seen another inkling who's told her that he's an agent...agent 4, near what seems to be a sewer? The fact that the team just recovered from the "Fuzzy goo invasion", and being promoted to captain, isn't really helping much with the captain's personal problems. But when Eight seems to go missing, and there are reports of an invasion where she lives, Captain Three starts getting worried.
