With Annabeth tied to the mast and wax in my ears, I steered the ship through the siren's den. The fog had accumulated and the wrecked ships in sharp rocks made it hard to stay afloat, but I managed. That was until I heard the beautiful singing voice of the sirens. I immediately thought I was screwed, but when I just stayed on the deck, in full control, listening to their beautiful song, I knew. They're my sisters, I must be immune. I remembered the time when I was six and decided to sing while I was home alone. Cats, birds, bugs, and even a couple of people were drawn to me. I had forgotten about that up until this moment. I looked behind me and saw Annabeth struggling against her ropes. Taking the wax out of my ears I expertly steered the ship through the maze of sharp rocks and ships succumbed to the Siren's song. I looked behind me once more and saw Annabeth jump off the ship. I jumped after her, grabbing her and making an air bubble underwater for her. She saw there was no wax in my ears and started yelling at me before I stopped her saying it fell out when I jumped in to get her. She had cut the ropes with her dagger somehow. We got back to the ship and out of reach of the siren's song, but it still haunted me. Plagued my nightmares. Fueled my greatest fears. What am I capable of? I asked myself that question every time I woke up from nightmares of me in a dark damp place, scratched, bruised, and alone, doing unspeakable things to monsters. I never told anyone these nightmares. They were too real. Then again, what demigod dream wasn't? All I know is, I'm way more powerful than anyone would think, and I'm glad Zeus is breathing down my neck, because if I can do what I saw in my nightmares, I could overthrow the gods. If I wanted to. My name is Percy Jackson. I'm the most powerful demigod to ever live, and this is the story of how I realized it.

Percy Jackson. Everyone loved him, saw him as their saviour and hero, but not anymore. They started to fear him, fear his strength, his skills and powers. Why? He didn't know. Why a few stayed by his side though all the hurt and betrayal? He didn't know that either, but one thing was for sure: He needed to go, so he did exactly that, just that he wasn't alone, like he originally thought. He still had his family, at least a small part of it.
