Christine Parker has been living six years in Ohio because of her parent's work. She gets bullied in high school there and her family decides to move back to their house in Stoneybrook, Connecticut. She's happy because she is going to see her best friend, Sam Thomas, and his family. When she arrives, she finds out some things have really changed in her neighbors' house, the Thomas'. She also finds Sam is kind of angry at her because of her moving. Hopefully, with a dinner they can solve it. But, what will happen when she encounters some old enemies from her old high school in Stoneybrook? What will happen when she finds out she has a crush on her best friend? Will he feel the same? Will she be able to tell him how she feels?

Samantha Buckley, sixteen years old, moved from Spain to Greece with her mother and father. They'd moved during the summer holiday, giving her time to settle before having to worry about school. She was an academic achiever. She was very studios and settled for nothing but the best. In her old school, she was the top student. She finds herself becoming aquatinted with a boy who's a polar opposite. Uninterested in school and more concerned with fun. He was most definitely not the ideal friend for someone like her, at least that's what her parents would say. Could the two of them potentially grow a fondness for each other despite their respective differences and all the other problems keeping them apart..?
