What if The Little Mermaid was a siren?
Kaito had always hated the cold lake with its stale, soft sand. The sand was now covered with snow, as it had been for more than two hundred years. Because of her. She was a ruthless killer, meant to be trapped for all eternity. But it didn't stick. Finally, the curse had been broken. The curse that had been placed on her by a royal enchantress. She said the curse could only be broken when a tear from her descendant landed on Kaito's grave. The lake. She didn't know who broke the curse, or why. If they did it on purpose or not, but she was finally free. Free like a fish in the ocean.
