"So I have a crush on you." I couldn't help but prepare for impact from the all too familiar fist. I spit the words out as fast as possible, never lifting my eye off the ground as I inspect the dirt beneath me.
"No you don't."
My head shoots up, surprised by the words that were just spoken to me.
I quickly look around looking for any other source of the sound other then the person in front of me. No one else is here -I made sure of that before doing this-.
It takes my brain a second to process what just happened, what was just said.
I finally locate the source of the sound. I finally realized what was just said to me. I finally realized what he just said to me.
"What? What the hell kind of answer is that?!" I can't help but be confused and kinda pissed at the response. What makes this even worse is that he still isn't even looking at me, nor facing me. He is still just staring off into space smoking his cigarette. It's like he thinks I'm joking or something.

I looked over to my right, bending my neck. He opened his soft eyes and gazed at me with a smile. Parts of his eyes crinkled, signalling that he had indeed smiled. His face freckled with stars of coal against his milky white skin. His eyes of pure abyss. Colors that I couldn't think of the name, but always knew what they were and weren't. He was beautiful. He made a noise, quite similar to a squeak from a mouse. "Why do you keep looking at me like that?" He mumbled into my pillow, his voice muffled. I only smiled. He turned a shade of pink and buried his face in my pillow. I tugged the blanket over our shoulders and onto our heads. I inhaled his smell, like a morning rain, and fresh fruit. Flowers but also a sour like smell like lemons or candy. He smelled so good. I pulled him into me and smelled his hair. How could I ever deserve someone like this? How... How did I get here? I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific.
